More women in service means more perspective, more compassion, and stronger communities.
Uniformed Women is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing opportunities, access, and support for women pursuing careers in uniformed and public service professions. We help women explore pathways into the military, law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medical services, corrections, and other first responder roles, while building the confidence, preparation, and community they need to thrive.
We exist because too many women feel called to serve, but do not have the guidance, representation, or practical support to navigate the process. Uniformed Women closes that gap by providing mentorship, career readiness support, and real-world insight from women who have lived the journey.

We serve young women, career changers, and aspiring recruits who want to enter uniformed service, as well as women already serving who want community, professional growth, and support. We also collaborate with families, schools, community partners, and agencies that want to see more women successfully enter and remain in the field.
